1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Nine Months
Three Years now!
2. What does your username mean?
"Pencil"! (at least I hope so *cough*)
Hasn't changed ^^
3. Describe yourself in three words.
Love - drawing - fanart
I really do love fanart! If I remember correctly wanting to create fanart was the reason I started drawing back in 2015! I still like drawing fanart, but at one point I would like to create something 100% original, like a comic for example.
4. Are you left or right handed?
right handed
Nothing has changed here.
5. What was your first deviation?
It was a portrait of this snooker player: Ben-Woollaston. Although I wanted to scan it again sometime I haven't done so up today.
Still haven't done that. *cough*
6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
Traditional art, using colored pencils and pastels.
I started coloring digitally last year and do so most of the time. My sketches are still done traditionally though and I wouldn't want to do without that.
7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Markers!!
Add pixel art to that! x_x
8. What was your first favourite?
That was so long ago when I added one of DA’s drawings to my browser favourites: A great pencil sketch of a warrior type character. Wish I could find that! With this account it was Red Bird, I remember adding it to my favourites right away.
Nothing has changed here of course.
9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Traditional art, especially watercolors, I can’t resist watercolors!
This is still true, I love watercolors. ^^
10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
That’s really hard to say, I like to look at different art styles so I’d say there is no favourite artist I can name. I’m stunned by any unique style I come across and that's why I tend to browse a lot.
Still true. (I have way too many favourites help me)
11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Again hard to say, but I think it would be: jon-lock. His/Her Red and Goblin art is so unique - I’m sure it would be an interesting talk.
Well, jon-lock doesn't have an account on DA anymore since a long time so I guess you could say this is slightly outdated! *cough cough*
(Her art is so colorful an imaginative, she has her own homepage now in case you never saw her art: www.nadiakim.net/illustrations…
12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I remember when a friend introduced me to DA when I was still at school. I am forever grateful because without him I possibly would not know DA today.
I'm still very happy to be on deviantart, even more than in 2015. Because back then I didn't really have any close friends on DA and this definitely has changed. I'm so happy to have you around: y o u - g u y s - a r e - t h e - b e s t.
13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Faber Castel colored and pastel pencils, Jaxell pastels and some no name crayons which are at least 10 years old (or rather 20 ).
I still have those crayons!! : D But since I color mostly digitally now I only need a pencil for the sketch. A rubber doesn't hurt, too.
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
I usually see something I get inspired by (e.g. a character in a movie) and then I start drawing fanart and uploading it to DA.
I don't watch this much TV anymore actually. xD What inspires me most to start a new drawing currently is browsing the huge amount of stock photos on DA (Sooo many beautiful dresses!). Oh and looking at other people's art!
15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Too many! And more to come!
There really are too many! <3 (Oh boy this turned into a very long journal...)
